General Terms and Conditions of Sale
PREAMBLE:
These conditions govern the sale of patterns, other derived products and services featured on www.patternadventure.com. The site patternadventure.com is edited by the company MTT Multantiv Ltd/Oy, Business Id (y-tunnus) 2205967-9, a private company whose headquarters are located at Kumpulankaari 1, 90650 Oulu, Finland. It is recommended to carefully read these general terms and conditions of sale before using or placing an order on the website. In the event of any questions or difficulties, please contact team@patternadventure.com.

PURPOSE:
These general terms and conditions of sale exclusively govern the patterns, other derived products and services featured on the patternadventure.com website. These general terms and conditions of sale are concluded for the duration which is necessary for the delivery of the products and/or services. Any order placed on the patternadventure.com website implies full acceptance of these general terms and conditions of sale. The general terms and conditions of sale are likely to be the subject of subsequent amendments, in which case the general conditions of sale applicable to an order would be those in force on the patternadventure.com website at the time the order is placed.
CUSTOMER: "Customer" or "you" refers to any physical person having the age of legal majority and at least the legal capacity to conclude a contract who places an order on the patternadventure.com website according to the indicated prices and conditions.
ORDER: "Order" means the act of purchasing product(s) by a customer on the patternadventure.com website in accordance with these general terms and conditions of sale.
PRODUCT: "Product(s)" refers to all products offered for sale on the patternadventure.com website.
1. PRICE
1.1 The prices of our products are indicated in euros with VAT included.
1.2 It is possible to deliver an order containing downloadable patterns to any country supported by Stripe.
1.3 Regardless of your origin or your bank's origin, orders are payable in Euros.
1.4 PatternAdventure reserves the right to modify its prices at any time but products will be invoiced based on the rates in force at the time of the order subject to availability. Products remain the property of PatternAdventure until the price has been fully paid.
2. ORDER & DELIVERY
Before placing your order and making the payment, you will be asked to fully and unequivocally accept these General Terms and Conditions of Sale by ticking a consent box on the summary page of your order.
The data recorded by www.patternadventure.com forms the proof of all the transactions passed by www.patternadventure.com and its customers. The data recorded by the payment system forms the proof of the financial transactions. PatternAdventure will confirm the acceptance of the order at the provided email address that you have provided. PatternAdventure reserves the right to cancel any order from a customer with whom a dispute has occurred concerning the payment of a previous order.
2.1 Patterns and other derived products
For now, all patterns are “Pattern-on-demand” and a downloadable link will be sent to you within 3-5 business days of receiving payment. The link is sent to the email address that you specified during the ordering process. It is your responsibility to ensure you have entered a valid email address.
It is our responsibility to ensure the link is downloadable. Should you have a faulty link, we will issue a new one to you. The link and downloadable file do not expire, but they are exclusive to you and may not be shared. If we notice that a file (/s) has or is being shared or distributed, we remain the right to remove both the link and cancel your account.
If you do not receive your download within 3-5 business days, or if the download is faulty, please contact us immediately by email team@patternadventure.com.
2.2 Services
Once a service has been ordered, it is our responsibility to ensure that the service is completed within the agreed upon time frame. We remain the right to move and cancel the sewing classes and workshops without reason. Should the majority of the course be cancelled by us, a refund will be issued for the amount of classes cancelled. An ordered service is non-refundable except in extreme cases.
3. PAYMENTS AND SECURITY
We use Stripe as our payment provider. At the moment we only accept Credit card payments. You need to authorize us, MTT Multantiv OY, to send instructions to the financial institution that issued your card to take payments from your card account in accordance with the terms of our agreement with you. Our website uses a security system to protect all sensitive data related to the payment method as effectively as possible. For the customer’s safety, customer data is transferred via https://.
4. RETURN AND EXCHANGE POLICY
4.1 Downloadable Patterns and other derived Products and Services
B2c (Business to customer)
In accordance with the Consumer Protection Act of Finland, you have the right to exchange and/or return an item within 14 days of receiving your ordered item. In the case of a purchase of a downloadable product: you have a 14-day withdrawal period, only if you have not yet downloaded the files related to the invoiced product via the download links provided to you after the purchase.
To exercise your withdrawal right, please contact us at team@patternadventure.com.
Compliance with the withdrawal period is guaranteed if the notification is sent before the withdrawal period expires. You will then be refunded no later than within 30 days after the withdrawal right has been exercised. PatternAdventure can choose to perform the refund either by the original payment method or by crediting your bank account.
B2b (Business to business)
Orders that are B2B are not covered by a consumer protection 14 day return policy. Orders are binding and have no cancellation, exchange or return policy. The patterns and their derived products may not be used for commercial purposes other than if the business purchasing the pattern and their derived products is a sole trader, i.e. a seamstress, creating a single, individualised, one-time product for a customer. None of the products may be used for commercial production outside of the scope of the example given above. 4.2 Service
Once a service has been ordered, it is PatternAdventure’s responsibility to ensure that the service is completed within the agreed upon time frame.
Sewing Course
A Sewing Course is an extended period, usually multiple months, of regular classes given with an instructor. PatternAdventure remains the right to move and cancel the sewing class without reason. Should the majority of the course be cancelled by us, a refund will be issued.
Workshops
A Workshop is a shorter period, several hours or days, of an intense class given with an instructor. PatternAdventure remains the right to move and cancel the sewing class without reason. Should the time be moved, we will notify each participant. If you cannot join for the moved date, you are entitled to a refund. Once you have participated in the workshop, it is non-refundable.
Customised Services
A customised service is any service not included in the other services. For each Service, PatternAdventure will make an individual offer to the customer. Once accepted by the customer, the services are non-refundable.

6. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All Patterns and their derived products, as well as all material on the website such as texts, comments, articles, illustrations, videos and images are protected under copyright law as well as the intellectual property code for the entire world. As such and in accordance with the provisions of the Intellectual Property Code, only private use is allowed subject to different, and perhaps more restrictive provisions of the intellectual property code. Any other use is an infringement and is punishable under the Intellectual Property Code unless prior authorization has been granted by PatternAdventure (MTT Multantiv Oy). Any total or partial reproduction of the PatternAdventure products is strictly prohibited.
7. PERSONAL DATA AND PERSONAL INFORMATION
With the development of new communication tools, it is necessary to pay particular attention to the protection of privacy. That is why we are committed to respecting the confidentiality of the personal information that we collect. Customer information gathered by the web shop is only used for processing the orders. Customer information will not be disclosed to third parties or used for marketing without the customer's explicit consent. For more details see our Privacy Statement.

This website may contain links to other websites ("linked websites"). Those links are provided for convenience only and may not remain current or be maintained. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices associated with linked websites.
9. OTHER
These Terms of Sale constitutes the entire agreement between PatternAdventure (MTT Multantiv Oy) and you with respect to sale of patterns, other derived products and services featured on www.patternadventure.com and supersede any previous oral or written agreement between us with respect to the sale on the site. We reserve the right to change our terms and conditions. Customers should familiarize themselves with the terms and conditions before placing an order.
